Solving the Power Problem for AI Datacenters, Microgrids, and EV Charging: Record Densities Further Enhanced by SiC

As AI datacenters, electric vehicles, and building electrification drive surging energy demands, we face a major “power problem” caused by insufficient grid capacity and aging infrastructure. And while distributed energy resources (DERs) offer a viable solution, the bespoke nature of current DER projects—each requiring unique configurations and complex architectures—leads to increased costs, stranded assets, and compromised resiliency. The DG Matrix “Power Router” pioneers a breakthrough in digital-transformer technology to offer a solution that is far simpler, more efficient, more reliable, and more cost-effective. Based on $200M of foundational research and backed by a seasoned team, DG Matrix is reshaping our energy landscape to accelerate electrification and decarbonization.

Haroon Inam

DG Matrix Inc.

Haroon Inam is a seasoned cleantech executive with 30+ years of experience across executive, product management, engineering, and operations roles, and with three successful exits. He co-founded DG Matrix; the company has a sales pipeline of US$2B in just 11 months of commercial work. Previously, Haroon served as Chief Technology Officer of Smart Wires Inc. from 2014 till 2023, where he led a global team of 200+ engineers and achieved significant product, supply chain, and business development milestones. He also helped raise $350 million in funding. Prior to Smart Wires, Haroon held leadership positions at companies including United Technologies, Honeywell, and more. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Duke University and holds over 50 US patents.

Reinventing mobility and other technologies as a Self-Improving Product

Imagine products that learn more and more to get better and better the more you use them. Like cars. Historically, cars have been at their best when leaving the factory, only to deteriorate over time. OEMs have focused on product design and manufacturing, leaving it up to the user to figure out how to best use their products. But today products must learn and adapt to where, how, and for what they are used to make every unit run at its best. With its unique Edge AI software, Ekkono turns the concept of machine learning upside down by not only doing inference but also training at the edge, in operations. By learning and predicting the normal behavior of every unit, OEMs can not only detect the need for servicing but also adapt to run safely and efficiently for the environment and the idiosyncrasies of the car and the driver. This means that the more you drive, the more it learns, making the car better over time. Ekkono has customers like Volvo, Siemens Energy, Atlas Copco and Grundfos, empowering them to implement predictive, self-learning, and customized smart home, smart industry, and smart product features. In a partnership with Infineon announced earlier this year, Ekkono provides an optimized solution on the AURIX™ family of microcontrollers for Automotive.

Jon Lindén

Ekkono Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Company

Based in Sweden, Mr Lindén is one of Ekkono’s founders and a global pioneer in the field of Edge AI. He is a serial entrepreneur who prior to Ekkono brought Procera, a telecom company, from scratch to $100M+ in worldwide sales, moved the headquarters to Silicon Valley, and took it public on the NYSE (New York Stock Exchange).
